Most people first come to us because they experience some kind of pain, which they haven’t been able to get rid of the “traditional” way, and who have received a recommendation to see us from friends or relatives.
The various therapies, tips and exercises we impart on our patients, the answers we give to questions arising during treatment as well as any other issues the patient wants to raise, all result in a continuous, loose-knit process of working hand in hand.
Most clients then have regular appointments once a month in order to have manual adjustments done and pre-emptively resolve blockages or bad posture before they turn into chronic issues.
We will walk you through your exercises, adjust them according to your needs, add some and take away others. In our experience, regular check-ins help maintain health goals and ensure staying consistent with suggested tasks and exercises.
We will also talk about optimising measures, helpful supplements and seasonal issues like allergies and any other problems a particular client may want to raise.
For you, this is an hour to spend on yourself, to lower your stress levels, to regenerate.
We adapt our treatment very individually according to each client’s needs.
We have started to offer health coaching as part of our athlete’s care service, where it was immediately obvious that regular check-ups minimise injuries and downtime throughout the year while at the same time significantly increasing an athlete’s performance and well-being. This is a relatively minor effort on the part of the athlete but it contributes disproportionately to a very considerable result.
This approach can be applied to everyone and their specific performance demands in daily life.
This could be called prevention or everyday maintenance, but we we think the term “health coaching” is the most accurate for the services we provide.
